(P2): Virtually Wearables Brainstorm

There are so many different creations and ideas for this project that I didn’t know where to start. I feel intimidated by Blender and worried about animating the moving aspects of each filter. However, I have ideas that will be both challenging and fun to create. My first idea is a hand that sits on top of the user’s head and taps them every few seconds. I think this will be the easiest to make since it doesn’t have many moving parts.

Another idea is to make Shrek’s ears appear on the user’s face while Donkey sits on their shoulder, wagging his tail. This will require more effort, especially with rigging Donkey’s tail for smooth movement. My third idea is a Twilight-inspired filter with shimmering skin and vampire teeth emerging from the mouth. The shimmer effect will be tricky to achieve realistically, but I’m excited to experiment.

Creating these filters will take time and effort to bring them to life the way I envision, but I’m looking forward to the challenge. I hope to grow more comfortable with Blender and eventually incorporate it into future projects, as it is such a versatile tool. Before starting the build-a-bird lab, I expected it to be frustrating, but I’ve actually enjoyed the process. It has made me more excited to work on these filters, and I’m eager to see how they develop as I continue learning and experimenting with Blender.
