For this project, I want to choose a concept that seems mysterious and thrilling, like stepping into a shadowy world filled with secrets waiting to be uncovered. At first glance, it feels a bit chaotic, like walking through a maze of dark corridors where you’re never sure what’s around the next corner. But I also love how it’s organized—each choice you make in the story leads to a new path, a new layer of the narrative unfolding. What excites me most is the idea of creating an experience that feels immersive, like you’re actually inside the story, walking through the haunted halls of this eerie mansion.
The challenge here is to keep the suspense high while still guiding the player through a structured journey. It's like creating a haunted house, where each room is a new encounter but every decision ultimately leads to something bigger. The darkness of the setting, combined with small but deliberate moments of tension—whispers in the hallway, a creaking door, the feeling of being watched—will create an atmosphere of unease that I want to amplify throughout the entire experience.
One element I want to focus on is the way the choices are presented. I don’t want the player to feel comfortable; I want them to second-guess themselves at every turn. Like a horror film, the unpredictability of what happens next will be part of the fun. The way each page transitions from one to another feels like a puzzle, and I’m excited to see how the little details, like the Easter eggs hidden in the background, will tie everything together. Ultimately, I want the player to feel like they’re stepping into something alive, unpredictable, and full of dark mysteries—where the only certainty is that nothing is what it seems.
